A Gift Box

our prototype test set

This was our prototype of the Kiwi Chisel and a small frame Grackle sent to artist and woodworker, John Ryan for assessment. The box is made from beach wood with brass and copper inlay, fitted mild steel hinges and hardware. The tools are both 1095 high carbon steel with copper, brass and american walnut.
